Welcome to the Lair (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using our website and services (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

The Service allows users to manage and track personal collections of Magic: The Gathering products and cards. It is a digital organization and valuation tool. We do not sell, trade, broker, or otherwise facilitate the purchase or sale of any products through the Service.
We are not affiliated with Wizards of the Coast, Hasbro, Magic: The Gathering, or any of their subsidiaries or affiliates. All trademarks and product names are the property of their respective owners.

2. No Financial Advice & Price Estimate Disclaimer

The Service may display estimated market values for products and cards. These values are provided for informational purposes only and are not guarantees of current, future, or fair market value.
Market prices fluctuate and may vary significantly between sources and over time. Price data may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. You acknowledge and agree that:
  • Any displayed prices are estimates and may be wrong or outdated.
  • You are solely responsible for any decisions to buy, sell, or trade products.
  • The Service does not constitute financial, investment, or professional advice.
We are not responsible for any financial loss, missed gain, or other damages arising from your reliance on price estimates or any other content in the Service.

3. User Accounts

Authentication is provided through Google Sign-In (via Better Auth or a similar provider). By using the Service, you authorize us to receive certain account information from Google, such as your name, email address, and profile image, as described in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us promptly at okiedokieiguess@gmail.com of any unauthorized use or suspected compromise of your account.

4. User Content

You may add information about your collection, such as which products you own and in what quantities (“User Content”). You retain ownership of your User Content. By using the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, and process your User Content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree that you will not:
  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users’ accounts.
  • Scrape, harvest, or mass-export data (including prices and card information) except through any officially provided export features.
  • Infringe or violate the intellectual property or privacy rights of any third party.

6. Intellectual Property

All content and materials made available through the Service (other than User Content), including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, and software, are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by intellectual property laws.
Magic: The Gathering and all related marks are trademarks of Wizards of the Coast LLC. We use card names, set names, and related information for informational purposes only and claim no ownership of those marks.

7. Ads, Subscriptions, and Future Changes to Pricing

The Service may currently be offered free of charge. In the future, we may introduce advertisements, premium features, or subscription tiers. If we introduce fees, we will provide notice and, where required by law, obtain your consent before charging you.

8. Service Availability

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from harmful components.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:
  • Your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, the Service.
  • Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service or any third-party websites or services linked to from the Service.
  • Any content or information obtained from the Service, including price estimates.
  • Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or data.
To the extent any liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms shall be limited to the amount, if any, you have paid to us to use the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms or any applicable law.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may provide notice (for example, by updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page or by sending an email). Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
